At-a-Glance

ACTABS is an accreditation organization for private, Christian schools in the state of Texas, recognized by TEPSAC (Texas Private School Accrediting Commission), which recognizes 12 accrediting bodies, servicing private schools in Texas. Although it was founded to service Baptist schools, some 44 schools have linked with the organizations from multiple Protestant churches and schools.

ACTABS currently accredits 30 schools, hosts an annual convention, informs headmasters and principals of the latest legislation that may impact their schools, and coordinates the accreditation process for other schools looking for accreditation.
