Mission and Vision

The mission of the Accreditation Commission of the Texas Association of Baptist Schools is to promote quality education of students toward a Biblical worldview by providing accountability to high standards, information, training, collaboration, and fellowship.

ACTABS Vision 
  • Develop a statewide accountability system for Christian schools which train students in a Biblical worldview.
  • Facilitate school improvement which will increase student learning through information, training, and accountability.
  • Give every child in our churches and communities the opportunity to receive a Christian education.
  • Help Christian schools acquire support from churches, foundations, and individuals.
